Skovby was founded in 1933 by cabinetmaker Thorvald Rasmussen. He was a visionary man who even then created the foundation for the company we see today. He was uncompromising and professionally proud, and from the start produced furniture of the best quality. Today, Skovby work purposefully to preserve the traditions surrounding Danish design and good craftmanship, and to ensure a skilled workforce in the future by always having young carpenters and upholsters in training. ANNIVERSARY EDITION #33 DINING TABLE The Skovby #33 dining table is equipped with a unique extension system. By turning the turnable under the tabletop the three leaves move synchronously to a position that makes room for the extension leaves, that pops-up from the base, where they are hidden. We have added the popular piece to our Anniversary Collection with two new special edition laminate colours.
